ProCare™ Service Software

ProCare service software provides field support of SecureMesh™ NAN advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) installations. ProCare service software gives field service technicians a simple, easy-to-use tool to ensure maximum system availability and reliability and a fast and effective problem diagnosis and resolution.

ProCare service software is designed for off-the-shelf tablet PCs that communicate with the SecureMesh NAN devices, including SecureMesh Meter Modules, SecureMesh Repeaters, and SecureMesh Collectors. A USB adapter with a SecureMesh NAN radio  gets attached to the PC to support radio communications between the PC and SecureMesh NAN devices.

Field Operations

ProCare service software automatically searches for and identifies SecureMesh devices and provides technician with a wide variety of information and troubleshooting tools. Once ProCare service software has identified and located SecureMesh NAN devices, the technician can:

• read data from the SecureMesh NAN device
• adjust settings such as clock and GPS coordinates
• force association with a SecureMesh Collector
• measure radio signal strength and perform radio range tests
• load firmware to individual SecureMesh NAN devices or groups of devices
