Smart City Initiative Will Increase Energy Efficiency in City of Stratford
on Monday, September 21st, 2009Trilliant Incorporated, a leader in delivering Smart Grid solutions that enhance energy efficiency, utility operations, and renewable resource integration, today announced that the company has been selected to implement the Smart Grid network to create a Smart City for City of Stratford, Ontario. The system will support Festival Hydro’s 20,000 customers. The project will be completed with Capgemini, a leading provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services for utilities worldwide.

The Smart City initiative is expected to increase energy efficiency and control in the city of Stratford by integrating the electric grid with communication networks, smart devices, and renewable generation.
