Salim Khan

President and Chief Operating Officer
Salim Khan is responsible for the day-to-day operations at Trilliant.  As an energy technology veteran,  Salim has been driving technology innovations for more than 25 years in the global electric power industry. He joined Trilliant from ABB, where he was the Head of ABB’s Network Management business in North America and one of the key architects of ABB’s global Smart Grid strategy. During his time at ABB, Salim was also instrumental in ABB’s investments  in Smart Grid start-up companies and in acquisitions.  Under Salim’s leadership, ABB Network Management business delivered strong profits and revenue growth while also expanding its customer base for all market-leading product lines globally.  Prior to ABB, Salim held senior leadership positions at Landis+Gyr, Siemens, Systems Control, Inc. (acquired by British Petroleum) and a venture-backed enterprise software start-up company in Silicon Valley.  At these companies, Salim led significant business expansions in systems, software and consulting services in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.  Salim earned his Electrical/Software Engineering degree, with honors, from the University of Florida.  He is also an alumnus of the Senior Executive Business Administration Program at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.
