Redwood City, California and Concord, Ontario, October 1, 2007 – Trilliant Incorporated, the industry's leading provider of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) based on open standards, and OZZ Corporation, a leading provider of metering and energy management services to North American electric and gas utility markets, today announced completion of an agreement to merge operations. The new unified business, Trilliant Incorporated, will provide utilities with comprehensive solutions and services supporting advance metering, demand response and grid management programs. In combination with the transaction to merge with Trilliant, OZZ Corporation also announced it has sold its Comfort Solutions business to Alinda Capital Partners LLC, providing for a sole focus on utility advanced metering solutions and services.

The combined company, headquartered in Redwood City, California, has more than 350 employees with major facilities in Concord, Ontario and Granby, Quebec and more than 3 million meters under contract. A veteran management team of Trilliant and OZZ Corporation executives, including Bill Vogel, president and CEO; Paul Begin, CFO; Geoff Williamson, CMO; and Brian Pollom, vice president of customer programs, will continue to provide leadership for the newly formed company.
