Trilliant’s VP Customer Programs Brian Pollom to Speak at Smart Meters in Ontario Conference
Toronto and Redwood City, California, June 18, 2007 – Trilliant Incorporated, the industry's leading provider of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) based on open standards, today announced that Brian Pollom, vice president, customer programs and well-known expert on automated meter reading systems, will speak Tuesday, June 19, 2007, 1:15PM, at the Smart Meters in Ontario Conference at the St. Andrew's Club and Conference Centre in Toronto.

By 2010, all the approximately four million electricity customers in Ontario will have smart meters installed as mandated by the provincial government. The Smart Meters in Ontario Conference will address the selection, purchasing, installation and maintenance, billing and customer information issues. Pollom will review case studies of work done with Hydro One, Milton Hydro and Puget Sound Energy and provide considerations for Day 2 (and after) strategies for utilities.

With over 25 years of utility experience, Pollom led the deployment of automated meter reading (AMR) systems at Puget Sound Energy. At Trilliant, he is responsible for supporting major projects including those located in the Ontario Province. His experience also includes responsibility for the deployment of a 1.6 million electric and gas-fixed network metering system. He holds a BSEE from the University of Washington, is a past president of AMRA and a member of IEEE.
