Job Description
The Field Service Integration Engineer is responsible for integrating and managing new products into our growing network of utility products.
Essential Functions
The Field Service Integration Engineer will be responsible for ushering new products form the development cycle into full-scale rollout. This work includes understanding the product and customer requirements, developing an integration and test strategy, working with the development group to resolve issues, and planning for deployment.
- Determining implementation plan for new products.
- Creating test plans for new products.
- Supporting small pilot systems for new customers.
- Supporting regional teams for new deployments.
- Relaying customer input into new product requirements.
Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements
- A minimum of a college diploma in technical sciences or related field. Related work experience will also be considered.
- Experience in utilities and Advanced Electrical Metering including ANSI C12.X.
- Knowledge of wireless networks, data networks, and IEEE 802.XX a plus.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience with MS Project, Visio a benefit.
- Knowledge of a variety of analytical tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to identify and propose solutions.
- Ability to work concurrent tasks in a fast paced environment while effectively organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating work assignments.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and staff at all levels and with customers and outside contacts of diverse backgrounds while representing Trilliant.
