Communications
Motorola has selected Trilliant as their core solution for advanced metering. We have entered into a formal strategic alliance agreement in which they promote our AMI communications modules incorporating iDEN-based digital cellular technology. Through this agreement they provide development funding, testing, certification, sales, and technical support.
Wireless Carriers
We have negotiated reseller contracts with Sprint and Telus Mobility for nation-wide GSM/GPRS and CDMA/1xRTT wireless services. We have a reseller agreement with Cingular for Mobitex services, and have established device supplier relationships with Bell Mobility, Telus Mobility, and Verizon.
Metering Suppliers
Trilliant's commitment to open standards, and the fact that we are the only major AMI provider who maintains its independence (e.g. we are not owned by a meter manufacturer), enables us to be meter agnostic while offering the widest selection of AMI meters from all major meter manufacturers without the inherent conflicts that arise from the common ownership of meter and communications companies.
Our ability to work closely with major meter manufacturers is demonstrated by the fact that Landis+Gyr, General Electric, Sensus, and Itron offer factory integration of our communications modules. Also we developed communications modules for Elster meters for which we are currently discussing factory integration.
Service Partners
We have identified and developed relationships with companies who provide added value in the form of ASP, software, or physical deployment services. We have recruited Ozz Energy for distribution and project management of the Ontario Market and eMeter for joint marketing and ASP services to the California market. |
