Bill Vogel
President, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder
Bill Vogel has more than twenty-five years of sales, marketing, and business development experience in Automated Meter Reading (AMR), application services, and communications. His hand built teams have secured and managed more than $1 billion in systems and services transactions. Prior to founding Trilliant, Mr. Vogel was Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Nertec. His background includes Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for CellNet Data Systems. He holds a BS in Economics from California Polytechnic State University.
Susanna Kass
Chief Operating Officer
Susanna Kass is a seasoned corporate and strategic planning and international business executive with over twenty-five years of experience in networking and infrastructure data center global operations experience. She served as COO for eBay International, and held senior corporate, product marketing, and worldwide business operations at Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard. She holds a Graduate School of Business Degree for Executives from Stanford University, an MBA from Pepperdine University, a BS in Computer Science, and a BS in Business Administration Marketing from San Diego State University.
Eric Miller
Chief Solutions Officer
Eric Miller’s career in the energy industry spans more than twenty-five years, combining entrepreneurial, strategic, marketing, and product leadership in the areas of enterprise software, energy efficiency, customer data collection, renewable energy development, and wholesale power marketing. Prior to joining Trilliant, Mr. Miller was Vice President of Software for Itron and Vice President of Strategy for Silicon Energy. He holds a MS in Resource Systems from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College and a BA in Physics from Colorado College.
Geoff Williamson
Vice President of Commercial Business Development
Geoff Williamson has been active in the controls, systems, and utility markets for over twenty-five years. Mr. Williamson has held senior sales and business management positions with Johnson Controls and Honeywell in Australia and Asia. Also he held executive management positions with CellNet Data Systems, Sage Systems, and Invensys. He was an instrumental contributor to the first industry recognized commercial trial of a two-way Thermostat pilot with Puget Sound Energy in 2001.
Rob Conant
Sr. Vice President, Product Management
Before joining Trilliant, Rob Conant cofounded and was VP of Marketing and Business Development at Dust Networks, an innovator in wireless mesh networking technology, and the originator of the Wireless HART standard for industrial wireless mesh communications. Among his many accomplishments in his previous role at telecommunications systems provider Onix Microsystems, he invented micromirror technology establishing the company as a leader in MEMS-based fiber optic switches. Rob holds a PhD and MS in electrical engineering and a BS in mechanical engineering from UC Berkeley.
Tom Hines
Chief Information Officer
Tom Hines has over twenty years of experience in management positions across a broad range of vertical markets empowering organizations such as 3M, Cisco, Department of Defense, Intel, Microsoft, US Navy, and Xerox. Additionally Mr. Hines has provided leadership to companies such as Lexmark, Xerox, Evault, and Ring2 through advisory board roles. Instrumental in the development of new products and services, his leadership creates a catalyst for personal and professional growth.
Brian Pollom
Vice President of Strategic Projects
With over twenty-five years of utility experience, Brian Pollom has been involved with automated metering solutions during the last eight years having led the deployment and operations of AMR systems at Puget Sound Energy. His experience includes responsibility of the deployment of a 1.6 million electric and gas fixed network-metering system. Also Mr. Pollom led a virtual TOU consumption curtailment pilot program involving 400k Testimonials.
Paul Begin
Chief Financial Officer
Paul Begin is Chief Financial Officer of Trilliant. From 2004 to June 2007 Mr. Begin was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of OZZ Corporation (investor in Trilliant). During his tenure he lead a team that made numerous acquisitions and divestitures. From 2000 to 2004 he was Corporate Controller for MDC Partners (formally MDC Corporation) where he was involved in treasury, tax, financial reporting, and various capital transactions. He is a chartered accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in political science from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.
Normand Nadeau
Vice President, Operations
Normand Nadeau has over twenty years experience in communications technology development and production, and had been with Nertec since 1992 supervising the development of new technologies while overseeing daily production operations. Before Nertec Mr. Nadeau held leadership positions with Mitel Corporation.
